On Revolutions, and Ethos Ananda

Why revolutions rarely happen, and when they do, it's a bloodbath

All societies, and especially governments and organizations, degrade and corrupt eventually. Concerning many countries in 2021, especially 1st world Western ones, that statement is too nice and understated to describe what’s happening today. For many of us, we can EASILY agree that the mAinstReam mEdia is EViL and government too, etc. etc. So…why aren’t we doing anything about it?

The irony is, the people who are “doing something about it” are mostly making everything worse. These are the BLM and Antifa rioters, and pretty much protestors in general. Those days are over when protests have any sort of impact on reality besides making you feel good. Boycotts on the other hand…

Anyway, I’m gonna jump into the thesis finally; the mainstream dominant culture is by definition united, and the alternative counter-cultures are also by definition fractionated and divided. This is why revolutions take so long to happen, and when they do, it gets messy.

You finally make it out of the Matrix, you’re red pilled, black pilled, whatever. Then you find your own little sub culture within the “awake” community. But that sub culture is at odds with other little sub cultures, and the bickering and fighting ensues. Why can’t these little sub cultures see they are all part of one big culture, and only by uniting is it that we all win?

I think one reason, which I see in myself, is fatigue. It’s so tiring waking up. You finally make it, and you’re proud of HOW you made it, so you naturally are skeptical of people who made it in a vastly different way. I have this impression a lot with new age people; the overtly feminine attitude is just completely counter to how I woke up. I was doing the shadow work, making huge risks, losing friends, getting fired for speaking out, etc. etc. The more we sacrifice, the more we feel we deserve a higher honor. In fact this is true and righteous…in theory.

But in reality, to win, there must be unity, with a strong leader at the top. This is ALWAYS how it goes. Whether it’s Adolf Hitler or Alexander the Great or Jesus Christ. A charismatic and powerful leader who unites a mass of people is what makes real change that history remembers.

I think it is folly to wait for the Messiah, or even believe in one. Jesus Christ I love a lot, and really is the Messiah for a certain people in time and space. Is He still the Messiah in 5 million years in the future on a planet in the Sirius constellation in another dimension? I’m gonna go out on a limb and say no.

The thing we’re seeking, that will ACTUALLY do the trick, is wisdom. Wisdom is universal and timeless. It’s only the manifestation of wisdom that changes. Eventually you’ll see that Aristotle, Krishna, Confucius, and all the other saints and sages, are basically saying the same exact singular thing.

Personally, I don’t want to wait for another guy to tell me what I already know. I can submit to Aristotle and Srila Prabhupada/Krishna in my heart, and they give me all the guidance and wisdom I’ll ever need, and that’s good enough. I don’t care if I’m your leader, or a leader in any way, I just want more people to wake up, and more importantly, stand up.

If you’re on the edge, I beg you to find a master to submit to. I’m just a disciple of these masters, don’t see me as a master or leader, just a messenger. Even better than one master, is the combination of two. This is Ethos Ananda; the secular wisdom and excellence of Aristotle and Alexander the Great combined with the spiritual and transcendental wisdom of Srila Prabhupada and Lord Krishna. Come under my umbrella! It’s safe and exciting here!
